Coming up in October, all juniors will be required to take the ASVAB test. This test is a career aptitude test that will help students explore what skills they have and explore careers that are related to those skills. This test is administered by military testing personnel and can be used as military entrance testing, but no military commitment is required. This assessment has no bearing on any scholarship or college admission and should be treated like a tool for career exploration. HUGE Raptor shoutout to the Holstein Betterment Alliance on their generous donations to the dance, FFA, and football programs. The dance team and FFA members helped serve and cleanup the meal for the Farm To Table event while the football team setup and tore down for the event. School and community working together! CLAWSUP!
The start times for tonight's district baseball games will bump up an hour due to the forecasted storms. OABCIG v MVAOCOU will begin at 4:00 followed by Ridge View v East Sac at approx. 6:00. All tickets must be purchased online and tickets from Saturday will be accepted.
The BB games tonight will be at the same scheduled times on Monday, July 7th. If you have purchased an online ticket for tonight, those will be honored by the state on Monday.
Due to the weather creating unplayable field conditions, the district baseball game at 5:00 between OABCIG and MVAOCOU and the 7:00 game between East Sac and Ridge View, have been postponed. The make-up date will be Monday, July 7th. Times will be communicated once confirmed with the IAHSAA.
ATTENTION RAPTOR NATION: Galva-Holstein has two custodial positions available for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. The two positions include a daytime custodian in the Galva building and an afternoon/evening position in the Holstein building.
