Hello all:
If you and your student are interested in the Spring 2025 Drivers Ed Class that will take place here at the school in Holstein this coming spring, please have your child fill out the google form I sent them in their school email. If they did not receive the email, please let me know right away and I will resend it.
This has been announced at school also so they may have done this already.
Based on the response to the form, I will send you the Registration and Information Packet via mail after Feb. 1st. To be eligible to take Drivers Ed this spring, your child must have obtained their Learners Permit before the first day of class, Thursday, March 6, 2025. Raptor Nation: There are a few schedule changes for this week.
- There will be no JV girls game on Thursday night it will be a JVR /JV boys game starting at 6:00 PM in the North Gym.
- Friday there will be a make up game with MVAOCOU in Schaller starting at 4:00 PM. The girls will play 6 quarters. - There will NOT be a corresponding boys game that night in Anthon.
-Friday Night, the After-Prom Committee will be hosting their annual cake auction and the annual FFA will be hosting their Soup Supper during the home basketball games.

Ridge View Middle School Student Council is asking others to spread the joy this season by helping us donate to our holiday food drive and making the holidays brighter for those in need. If you desire, you may bring items when you come to a ball game or music concert and simply place them in front of our fireplace. Thank you!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Ridge View Dance Team on their outstanding results from State Dance that took place last week.
Jazz Class III: Division I rating, 3rd place
Hip Hop Class III: Division I rating, 5th place
The team also received an Outstanding Community Service Award and a Distinguised Academic Award (3.5-4.0 Cumulative GPA).
Please come to their Dance Night this Saturday night, Dec. 14th in the north gym to see these dances they took to state and more. Also the elementary students who participated in the dance camp with perform as well. Dance Night starts at 6:30pm. #CLAWSUP
REMINDER: The Ridge View After Prom is sponsoring their annual Cake Auction THIS FRIDAY, Dec. 13th, during 1/2 time of the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys games.
The theme is "Deck the Halls With Ridge View Raptors"
Details on the Cake Auction:
*We will auction off cakes at 1/2 time of the girls' and boys' varsity basketball games
*You can bid on a cake yourself or go in with someone to bid on one
*There is a silent auction as well so if you don't get a cake bought, head on over to the silent auction table and bid on those
*All proceeds go to Ridge View After Prom

SC Elementary Holiday Countdown! Dress up days are by day of the week this year! All Mondays are the same...ect. please join us in celebrating the season!
Schedule Announcement:: Due to opponents sickness and participation numbers there will be no JH girls game. The JH boys game will still be played as scheduled in Schaller at 4:00.

Remember the CAPS Toys for Tots drive is in full swing. Drop off your new toys at any school office, the Lohff-Schumann Community Center or the Holstein Supermarket by Dec. 11th.
Raptor Nation: The first Junior High Archery practice will be Tuesday, December 10th at 6:45 AM at the High school. The JH archers will practice Tuesdays and Fridays in the month of December. The Ridge View Bullseye Tournament will be hosted Saturday, December 14th in the south gym. Those needing transportation in the morning there will be a morning shuttle as needed.
