Thanks to Barb Knudsen of the Department of Agriculture and Stewardship for presenting on Arbor Day. All G-H Upper Elementary students got Huckleberry trees to plan to replace the mass take down of ash trees. A tree was also planted on the grounds of the Galva Building!

Raptor Nation: Tomorrow's JH track meet at East Sac County has been postponed due to weather forecast. The track meet will now take place on Tuesday, April 28th in Sac City. Field events will begin at 4:15PM with running at 4:45PM.

Our G-H 4th graders had the opportunity to dissect owl pellets! They have been learning about animal adoptions and defense mechanisms. Thank you, Danielle Bennett (Ida County Naturalist) for your presentation.

MS track meet: The middle school track meet tomorrow, 4/24 is still ON in Early beginning at 4pm. That being said, we are losing ALL of our HS coaches and workers. Parents - WE NEED YOU!!!! PLEASE reach out to Joel Brus or Caci Brus to sign up to help run tomorrow night's JH track meet. The more volunteers we have, the smoother and quicker it will run. We want our JH students to still have the opportunity to compete!!

Galva-Holstein 2nd graders are now published authors! They spent some time writing and illustrating their own pages and created a book together about what they want to be when they grow up. Way to go 2nd graders!
