Student Senate members have been working on service projects. Last week they held a competitive food drive, bringing in over 600 items. Last weekend they volunteered at Ida County Community Basket and the Orphan Grain Train. This week they are packaging up care kits to be sent to military members. These projects represent the "S" for service in the CLAWS Up motto.

A big Raptor thank you to Deputy Anderson for talking to our 5th and 6th grade students about bullying, harassment, the dangers of Social Media and the importance of being kind to all!

Galva Holstein 4th graders are enjoying the computer cart that was awarded to their school through the Ida County Community Betterment Foundation grant. This grant allowed a computer cart to be purchased to store the students' Chromebooks. This was a needed tool for the classroom to help with keeping the computers safe. The fourth grade teachers, Mrs. Brosamle and Mrs. Countryman, along with the students would like to thank the Ida County Community Betterment Foundation for funding this project! Pictured by the cart are 4th graders: Aubrey, Ryan, Aria, Clara, Knox, Connor, Austin, and Hudsen.
