Mrs. Tesch and Mr. Ahlers took students to the Design Dash competition where they collaborated with students and business mentors across northwest Iowa to create and pitch new product ideas to a panel of business professionals. Solving the worlds problems in a day!

Some stand outs were:

Raptor Results: Congratulations to the Ridge View Boys track team on wining the MVAOCOU invite and also to Derek Heilman on breaking the school record in the long jump with a jump of 22' 2.5” #CLAWSUP

Congratulations to the Ridge View Girls golf team on winning the Western Valley Conference meet tonight in Mapleton with a 200 and to Zoey Aschinger for winning the meet with a 46! #CLAWSUP

Congratulations to the Ridge View boys golf team on winning the Western Valley Conference meet tonight in Sloan with a 155! Ty Clausen was runner up medalist with a 37! #CLAWSUP

Attention girls track parents!!!

Today's girls meet in Storm Lake is at the PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL track, not where they ran at last year. The address is 621 Tornado Dr.

Attention G-H parents!!!

Due to several activities happening today, there is a driver shortage and routes need to be combined. Country students on Denny, Dave Borchers, or David Thorburg's normal routes will be combined, resulting in either a possible 5-10 minute early or 5-10 minute late drop off. Please be advised, and sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks to Barb Knudsen of the Department of Agriculture and Stewardship for presenting on Arbor Day. All G-H Upper Elementary students got Huckleberry trees to plan to replace the mass take down of ash trees. A tree was also planted on the grounds of the Galva Building!

CLASS OF 2026 KCHE CLASSIC CLASS DAYS:
The Ridge View Class of 2026 will be celebrated on Monday, May 4th, from 9am-3pm on KCHE 92.1FM for those seniors that participated. If you are unable to tune in to the radio, the program can also be streamed from their website kcheradio.com.

Lots of fun was had at Galva-Holstein's Preschool Family Day! The students sang a few of their favorite school songs. They also made a craft and snack with their family! Thanks for coming and supporting your students!
