Due to wet field conditions, the softball game at Remsen St. Mary's will be postponed until tomorrow. The games will take place at the same time tomorrow - 5:30 for JV and 7 pm for Varsity.

Ridge View 7th graders enjoyed a wonderful day exploring local history on a county-wide museum tour!

Students visited museums in Nemaha, Sac City, Lake View, and Odebolt, as well as the historic Chautauqua Building in Sac City. At each stop, they completed a scavenger hunt that encouraged them to observe artifacts closely, answer questions, and think critically about the stories of our region.

This hands-on learning experience helped students gain a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and events that shaped our communities.

A special thank you to Lance Wilhelm for organizing this outstanding educational opportunity for our students!

Raptor Nation: Congratulations to Ridge View senior golfer Kellen Clausen on qualifying for the Boys Class 2A Individual State Golfing Championships. Kellen shot a 68 , tying the school record, on the National Course in Carroll yesterday and finished as the runner up medalist at the qualifying meet. Kellen will now golf next Tuesday and Wednesday in Waterloo. #CLAWSUP #GoRaptors

ELITE ALERT: Congratulations to the Ridge View High School E-sports team on a sweep of the Woodbury Central Wildcats last night in the Class 1 Sub-State Mario Kart Deluxe Final. This win qualifies the Ridge View Esports team for their 4th consecutive state showcase playoff appearance. Team members on this years squad include; Rees Wagner, Corbin Smith, Aiden Stevenson, Jared Friedman, Jeremaiah Hughes and Valeria Najera-Torres. The Raptors are coached by first year Coach Brady Meyer. The Raptors will travel to Marshalltown Community college to compete in the state championships on May 19th. #CLAWSUP #GoRaptors

Galva Holstein 1st graders enjoyed learning about the importance of saving money from United Bank of Iowa today on their field trip. They also visited the Holstein Dairy and learned all about their day-to-day operations. They ended their field trip at Moorehead Park with a scavenger hunt, nature hike, and a bird beak buffet activity!

ELITE ALERT: Congratulations to the Ridge View Boys Golf team on winning the Sectional meet carding a team total of 301. Additional congratulations to Kellen Clausen on being the individual meet champion with a 69 and to Leo Nedved for finishing in third place shooting a 74. #CLAWSUP

The GH 5th Grade had a busy week. On Tuesday, along with High School students, and the SC 5th graders, they learned about types of fish and invasive weeds. The students caught some bass and bluegill! On Wednesday the GH 5th Grade participated in DARE Graduation!

Tomorrow's HS Track State Qualifying Meet at Sioux Central for our Boys and Girls will be online ticket sales and/or credit/debit cards at the gate. Field events will start at 4:00 pm, followed by running events at 4:45 pm. A mandatory 30 minute break will take place after the 4x800 relays. Last week our Big Raptor Little Raptor program wrapped up. This program matched high school students with GH Lower Elementary students. Students had fun with lots of activities including crafts and games. A great experience for all involved!
