Area flooding has changed the landscape of travel last week and this week.
Getting to town from the East is not an issue, using Highway 18.
If coming to Emmetsburg from the NORTH, SOUTH or the WEST you will encounter flooding that has closed the highways (4 & 18)
As of 7/1, these two main bridges are still closed.
The alternate routes that I have used are 370th St on the SW side of town (there is some passable water on the road (cleared with law enforcement) Rendering Works Road and Bridge.
I have attached the Google Maps printout of the alternate route suggested to the Ridge View Team and Fans.
