Dear Ridge View Community Members:
The Ridge View Activities Department is still in search of some volunteers to help at our Winter sports activities. Here is a more detailed description of some of the positions we are looking to fill.
Clock Operator- Only responsibility is to start and stop the clock.
Scoreboard Operator - Runs the scoreboard including points and fouls and also operates the player panels. It may seem like a daunting task but can easily be learned.
Announcer - Announces the starting lineups and reads introductory announcements
If you could see yourself filling one of these roles on either a regular basis or fill in role please contact Activities Director Joel Brus at the High School.

A couple of schedule announcements from the athletics department
JH Girls Basketball has added a game to the schedule. They will now play this Thursday in Sloan against Westwood starting at five o'clock with 7th graders followed by the 8th grade game. The game was added late due to other opponents on our schedule being able to play one game.
Tonight's HS Girls wrestling meet begins at 5:30

Ridge View Middle School hosted its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10. The event began with breakfast and was followed by a program. Twenty-two veterans attended. Each was introduced as he or she entered the room. The fallen comrade table ceremony was performed. The band and chorus played and sang special pieces to honor our special guests. Three flags were framed and presented by the high school industrial arts class. It was a special morning for the student and the community.


Congratulations to senior Rosemary Waters for being selected to the Northwest Iowa High School Honor Band! Rosemary was among several hundred students from this region of the state who auditioned on Saturday, Nov. 4 in Sioux Center, and she was selected to participate in the honor band festival at Morningside University in January on bass clarinet. Congratulations Rosemary!

The cast and crew of Ridge View High School's production of Cinderella invite to join them tonight and/or tomorrow night starting at 7:00pm in the RoseMary Clausen Center For Performing Arts as they entertain their audiences with this magical performance. RAPTOR ELITE ALERT: Congratulations to the Ridge View Raptor Model UN team for their efforts at the Iowa Youth Symposium on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Participants at the event were Corvin Griffin, Arianna Saldana, Brody Bisenius, Sophia Keleher, Kimora Melaancon, Ethan Brockman, Jordan Kluver, and Joe Goettsch. You all did an excellent job representing RIdge View. #CLAWSUP!


Ridge View senior, Maguire Neumann attended the 30th annual High School Art Workshop & Show on October 31st in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The day involved a juried art show as well as the students in attendance, participating in creative workshops presented by the University's Art Department.
150 pieces of art were submitted for the show with the top 50 works being put on display. Maguire's two entries took home the top two prizes. CONGRATULATIONS MAGUIRE!!

Ridge View Middle School students enjoyed a Halloween, puzzle competition during Success time. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners are pictured. Mr. Petersen's class claimed the traveling trophy.









The Holstein Elementary Halloween Parade of Costumes will be moved to the North Gym due to weather TODAY at 3:00pm! Parents may enter the north entrance by the new gym at 2:50pm.
