Ridge View High Schoolers had their annual art show this week! We sure do have MANY talented students here at Ridge View!! Congratulations to Maddy Horan, a sophomore. She won "Best of Show" at the Ridge View High School Visual Arts Show on Tuesday, May 6th. She is pictured with her oil painting titled "A Girl's Night In".
Other top winners included gold medals: Somer De Young (2), Sydney Blackmore, Mazee Henningson,Brooklynn Lukins. Silver medals: Sydney Blackmore, Sophia Keleher, Kolton Witzke, Maddy Horan, and Ashley Dancourt Castillo. 🌿 Field Trip Fun at Crawford Creek! 🌿
What a memorable day! Our 5th grade field trip to Crawford Creek was a huge success — with 68 excited 5th graders and 18 amazing senior volunteers joining the adventure!
From having a lesson completed by the Ida County Conservation Office to catching a lot of fish, it was a day full of learning, laughter, and teamwork. A huge thank-you to our seniors for being such wonderful role models and helping make this experience extra special for our students.

Friday, May 2nd, Ridge View High School’s FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) organization had the privilege of traveling to Sioux City. Forty students, ages 9-12th grade, were able to learn about various careers through conversations and tours of three metro businesses. Emily at Rooted Boutique, Penny at Security National Bank, and Don, owner of the Sioux City Bandits, did a great job of
sharing their backgrounds and career paths. We learned SO much!
Of course, the day couldn’t be complete without a wonderful lunch (at Olive Garden) and a quick, last stop at Crumbl Cookies. We packed in a lot of learning and had a great time! #CLAWSUP #FCCLAROCKS

ELITE RAPTOR ALERT: A HUGE RIDGE VIEW CONGRATULATIONS to the Raptors High School Boys Track Team for bringing home the WIN from the conference track meet held last night in Ida Grove. Events that won are the 4 x 800 (Jack Todd, Cole Jochims, Landyn Peterson, and Tyler Friedrichsen), the 4 x 400 (Jack Todd, Adam Stephan, Zach Kolpin, and Kellen Jensen), and the 400 M Dash (Jack Todd, setting a new school record of 50.87). The Sprint Medley also set a new school record of 1:36.86 (Zach Kolpin, Kyle Burk, Jack Todd, and Kellen Jensen). #CLAWSUP
Lots of fun was had at Galva-Holstein's Preschool Family Day! The students sang a few of their favorite school songs. They also made a craft and had a snack with their family!

The Ridge View boys golf team won the conference meet in Holstein tonight with a 157. Ty Clausen was medalist with a 36 and Kellen Clausen was runner up medalist with a 37.
